Kairos Tent – Creating Space for Encounter

The Kairos Tent is a place of encounter.

People often ask what church or organization the tent belongs to.

Our simplest answer is:
“It belongs to Jesus.”

The Kairos Tent is not about promoting ourselves or building attention around a ministry. It is simply about making ourselves available to what God wants to do through ordinary people who are willing to yield to Him.

Sometimes people stop for prayer.
Sometimes they simply need someone to listen.
Sometimes conversations unfold that we know were divinely orchestrated.
And sometimes people encounter the presence of God in ways only He could initiate.

The tent itself is simple.
But we believe God often meets people in simple places.

Our role is not to manufacture moments. It is simply to show up, love people well, and make room for Jesus to do what only He can do.

The word Kairos is a word for time – not time as in chronological time—such as the schedules, calendars, and routines we move through every day, but something deeper: a divinely appointed moment. A God-timed opportunity. A moment of encounter where heaven seems to intersect with ordinary life – “for such a time as this.”

Our heart is to create space for those moments through prayer, intercession, and the tangible love of Christ.

Where We Go

We regularly set up the Kairos Tent during Boerne Market Days on the 2nd weekend of every month, creating a visible and welcoming place for prayer and connection.

In addition, the tent may be set up in other locations throughout the year—including community outreach opportunities and serving the homeless—as the Lord leads.

Tent Hours

• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

(Setup is normally Friday evening around 6 PM and we welcome anyone willing to help.)
